	People of all ages, including the very young, become quiet and fascinated as Gregg introduces homemade robots, each with its own special capabilities. The crowd laughs and cheers soon enough though, as the robot participants encounter success and surprise in the exploration of their environment. Gregg is a professional early childhood educator and, as well, happens to be a sound engineer and technical wizard. He has combined in the robot puppet show humor, education, and an entertaining display of robots in which children will recognize familiar toys and household items used in unusual and interesting ways. Questions and comments during breaks in the show are welcome, and, if time and number of participants permits, audience members are welcome to experience operating the controller and making the robots move. Gregg's other educational and highly entertaining presentations include demonstrations of electricity and electronic sound and image synthesis. The electricity and magnets show, in one attention absorbing hour, goes far beyond the normal exposure children receive to these important concepts in elementary school in Ontario. In this show, bits of paper and jets of water dance around under electrical control, gas ionizes, children join hands and become part of a transistor amplifier circuit, and wiggling magnets cause a variety of interesting effects. Audience members will appreciate that their everyday world contains much cause and effect magic that they can take ownership of by understanding the basic principles of magnets, electricity, and vibrations. The electronic sound and image synthesis show is a fascinating audio visual demonstration in which waving fingers and TV remotes are made audible, CD players produce pictures, and children, by holding coins, establish electronic circuits that sound like waterfalls, airplanes, and outer space signals. Many unexpected aspects of sound and light are explored in this show, and a scientific instrument called an oscilloscope is used in an unusual and entertaining way. All of Gregg's shows are appropriate for school visits as well as private events. A demonstration of an amazing variety of lasers and laser effects is also available.
